A gentle invitation to explore movement, breath, and connection, no matter where you’re starting from.

You don’t need to be flexible to do yoga.

You don’t need fancy leggings or perfect balance.

You don’t even need to touch your toes.

What you need truly, is a body, a breath, and a willingness to begin. My favourite saying is, if you can breathe, you can yoga!

At 108soulsync, I’ve taught yoga to people in their 80s, people living with arthritis, people in wheelchairs, and people who’ve never set foot on a yoga mat before. The common thread? Each person showed up exactly as they were, and that was enough.

Yoga Meets You Where You Are

There’s a myth that yoga is only for the young, fit, and flexible. But yoga isn’t about performance.

It’s not about twisting yourself into a pretzel or pushing through pain.

Yoga is about connection between your breath, your body, and your self.

Some days that connection feels fluid and free. Other days it might feel stiff or scattered. Both are welcome. Both are yoga.

It’s Never Too Late to Start

I also work with older adults and people managing chronic conditions like arthritis. Many of them never imagined themselves doing yoga.

And yet, week after week, they return to the mat or chair. They move. They breathe. They feel.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what feels right in your body, today.

Yoga can support:

  • Joint mobility and circulation
  • Balance and coordination
  • Relaxation and emotional regulation
  • A sense of confidence and calm

Whether you’re 28 or 88, it’s never too late to reconnect with your body.
